After previous professional experience in the EuroLeague, Guduric and the Grizzlies agreed on a contract in July of 2019. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard made his NBA debut Oct. 23 against the Heat -- the first game of the season. In 24 minutes, he posted nine points, two rebounds and two assists. Shortly after, on Nov. 2 against the Suns, the rookie posted a season-high eight rebounds. Guduric had his first double-digit scoring outing Nov. 9, scoring 14 points in 28 minutes against the Mavericks. Two games later, he scored a season-high 17 points against the Hornets. He achieved a season-high four assists on three separate occasions -- Nov. 6 against the Timberwolves, Nov. 9 against the Mavericks and Nov. 11 against the Spurs. Guduric's shooting was excellent from the New Year until the NBA went on hiatus due to coronavirus. In those three months, he shot 50.0 percent from the field, 41.2 percent from three and did not miss a free throw across 16 appearances. In the five contests in which Guduric saw at least 20 minutes, he averaged 8.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 combined steals-plus-blocks.
