The Suns renounced their draft rights to Brown last week, NBA.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Phoenix selected Brown in the second round out of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2014, but he never signed a contract with the team. After spending time with the D-League's Bakersfield Jam in 2014-15, Brown suited up for Rio Natura Monbus of the Spanish ACB League last season, averaging 6.1 points (on 48% shooting from the field), 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 three-pointers in 16.3 minutes per game. Unless he shows dramatic improvement overseas, don't expect the 7-foot-1 big man to generate much interest from NBA teams in the years to come.
