Jones will compete for backup minutes at SF but with Carmelo Anthony averaging 35-38 minutes a night there just won't be enough time to make an impact. We just don't see Jones being any kind of a fantasy threat unless a rash of injuries plague this club.
Jones has been touted by many as the best on-the-ball defender in the 2006 draft class and is able to defend multiple positions because of his length and quickness. With the additions of Jones and Carney in the draft, the Sixers significantly upgraded their defensive ability on the wings. Jones will primarily play small forward and will therefore share time with Iguodala, Korver, and Carney.
