Personal Bio/PreCareer Summary

Brodric Thomas was born in Bolingbrook, Illinois in 1997 and is the son of Mark and Angela Thomas. He attended Bolingbrook High School where he averaged 17 points per game over his last two seasons. Thomas committed to Truman State University, but an injury forced him to redshirt his freshman season. He then transferred to Southwestern Community College and led them to an NJCAA Men's Division II championship. During his time at SCC, Thomas grew four inches and added fifty pounds. The versatile guard then returned to Truman, where he majored in psychology and played three more seasons. As a senior, he won the GLVC Player of the Year award and averaged 21.5 points per game. Thomas went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft, but signed a two-way contract that fall with the Houston Rockets.

ANALYSIS
Thomas joined the club prior to the preseason on a non-guaranteed pact. The 27-year-old hasn't appeared in an NBA regular-season game since the 2021-22 season with Boston, and he is expected to play for the Kings' G League affiliate -- the Stockton Kings -- for the 2024-25 campaign.
