Chris Chiozza

Chris Chiozza was born in 1995 in Memphis, Tennessee, where he also attended high school at White Station High School. During his senior season at White Station, the team recorded a 30-3 record, including a 12-0 district record. Chiozza participated in the 2013 Under Armour Elite 24 and NBA Top 100 Camp. The 5-foot-11 point guard competed at the LeBron James and Deron Williams Skills Academies and the Penny Hardaway Hoopfest. In February of 2019, Chiozza was included at the Team USA qualifying training camp for Team USA for the FIBA Basketball World Cup. Chris Chiozza played four years of college hoops at the University of Florida from 2014 to 2018. As a freshman, Chiozza appeared in 33 games with 11 starts. He led the team with 39 steals and had three double-figure scoring games. As a sophomore, Chiozza earned 22 starts and led the Gators in assists with 4.3 dimes per game. As junior, he nailed a running three-pointer in overtime to defeat Wisconsin in the 2017 NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen. After his senior season (2017-18), Chiozza was named to the coaches first-team All-SEC and AP second-team All-SEC. He was the second Gator to ever post a 200-assist season. Chiozza ended his Florida career as the university's all time leader in assists, he was ranked fourth in all-time steals, and became the 54th member of UF's 1,000 point club. After going undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, Chiozza joined the Washington Wizards for the 2018 NBA Summer League.
