Rice has been working out with the Mavericks and has a chance at making the club come season's start, the Fort Worth-Star Telegram reports.
ANALYSIS
The buzz on the wiry 6-10 forward has been positive, as he has a great shot and has great hustle on defense. The Mavs have a good feeling about Rice, so he has a decent chance of sticking on the team.
