Didi Louzada

Didi Louzada was born Marcos Henrique Loudza Silva in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Brazil in July of 1999. At age seven, he began playing for the Liga Urbana Social de Basquete in Brazil. In 2014, Loudza brought Brazil home the gold medal in FIBA's South America Under-15 Championship. In 2015, he joined club Franca of the NBB's under-16 team and played on behalf of the Brazillian national under-16 team the same year. After a single season with Franca he moved on to the Liga de Desenvolvimento de Basquete's under-22 league team, and with them, he would win the LDB championship. In 2016, the Brazillian was invited to the NBA's Americas Team Camp held in Mexico City. He rejoined Franca and debuted for their NBB team in 2016, but only played in one contest. The following 2017 season he averaged 3.2 points and 1.5 rebounds through 10.8 minutes per game over 21 games with them. He then took on a much larger role in 2018, where he would play 20.8 minutes per game and average 10.6 points and 2.9 rebounds. In 2019, he played in the Nike Hoop Summit for the World Select Team, following which he declared for the 2019 NBA draft. He was selected 35th overall by the Atlanta Hawks but would be traded to the New Orleans Pelicans immediately thereafter. Fans can follow Loudzada on Instagram @didi.
