Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could join parent club
The Knicks are considering calling up Skapintsev from the G League's Westchester Knicks amid their frontcourt injuries, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
With Mitchell Robinson likely out for the season due to a left ankle injury and Jericho Sims out for at least a week due to an ankle injury of his own, the Knicks need frontcourt depth. Skapintsev has been serviceable to begin the G League season, averaging 5.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in 18.7 minutes per game over 11 appearances for Westchester. It's unlikely that he'd see significant run with New York, but he could at least join the parent club soon.
