According to his agent, Greene will play in China this season.
Greene has shown that he isn’t anything more than a bench player. With John Salmons and a healthy Francisco Garcia around, Greene will play an even smaller role than he did last season.
Greene started 50 games last year, something the Kings hope to avoid this year. That’s not to say that Greene is a bad player, but he’s certainly not a spectacular one. From a fantasy perspective, Greene doesn’t bring you much – less than ten points a game, minimal assist and rebound numbers, no steals or blocks to speak of and only okay shooting percentages. Keep him off your radar.
Greene was taken in the late first round of the 2008 draft, and while the team still likes his potential, he's not going to be a big part of their plans in 2009-10. He'll provide depth at the forward positions for now.
Green joins fellow rookie Jason Thompson battling for minutes at one of the forward spots.
