2025 Fantasy Outlook
After going undrafted in 2023, Timme spent time with the Bucks during training camp but ultimately started his first pro campaign in the G League. He posted modest production for the Wisconsin Herd and got another chance with the Kings last offseason. Once again, he failed to make the Opening Night roster and spent most of his time in the G League. However, the Gonzaga product dominated for the Long Island Nets in 2024-25, averaging 23.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks while posting 57/39/73 shooting splits. Timme got his first NBA regular-season action at the end of last season, averaging 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 28.2 minutes across Brooklyn's final 12 games (two starts). Although it was limited action when the Nets were clearly tanking, Timme showed enough to warrant the organization exercising his 2025-26 team option. After showing out during a couple of Summer League games, Timme was shut down for rest purposes and will be competing for frontcourt playing time on Opening Night for the first time in his career. With Nic Claxton the likely starter, Timme will battle with long-time backup Day'Ron Sharpe and rookie Danny Wolf for playing time. Read Past Outlooks
Pours in 20 points in G League
Timme recorded 20 points (8-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks across 32 minutes in the G League South Bay Lakers' 123-116 win over the Iowa Wolves.
ANALYSIS
The two-way player paced South Bay in scoring and is now averaging 23.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.9 three-pointers and 0.7 blocks in 30.6 minutes per game over his 19 appearances in the G League on the season. Timme could be transferred back to the NBA club ahead of Thursday's game against the Bulls, but he's unlikely to be featured in the rotation if he's active for the contest.
