Ivan Rabb

Ivan Charles Rabb Jr. was born Feb. 4, 1997 in Sacramento, California. His parents are Ivan and Tami Rabb and he has a sister, Ivanna, and a brother, Tamarik. Rabb went to high school at Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland. In 2015, as a senior, he was named the top high school player in the state. He also won two CIF Northern California Open Division basketball titles and one CIF Open Division State Championship. He played in the Nike Hoop Summit for the U.S. Junior Select Team. Clarke also participated in the McDonald's and Jordan Brand Classic All-American games. Rabb was named to the 2016-17 All-Pac 12 First Team. He was also named to the 2015-16 All-Pac 12-second team. In the 16-17 season, Rabb led the Pac-12 in rebounds (10.5) per game. Along with leading the Bears in rebounds per game, the forward led California in double-doubles (17), field goals (151) and free throws (124). The Oakland, California native averaged a double-double (10.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game) in three Pac-12 Tournament games. Rabb also was second on the teams in points (14), blocks (1.0) and field goals (4.9) per game. He announced after his sophomore season that he was going to enter the 2017 NBA Draft. Rabb was chosen by the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round (35th overall) of the draft.
