Personal Bio/PreCareer SummaryNeoklis Avdalas spent the last two seasons in the Greek HEBA A1 league, first with AS Karditsas in 2023-24, and most recently with Peristeri BC this past year. The Greece native averaged 7.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 18.5 minutes across 26 contests, recording 43.6 / 35.7 / 70.3 splits as an 18-year-old. He participated in the 2025 NBA Draft Combine where he took part in scrimmages with other draft prospects. On day one, he went for eight points on 3-for-6 shooting (2-4 3PT), adding five rebounds, four assists and a steal in 21 minutes. The next day, Avdalas tallied 13 points (4-9 FG, 2-6 3PT, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and two blocks against just one turnover. Avdalas is a fluid athlete with great size as a guard-forward, providing three-position versatility at both ends of the floor. He's lethal in transition and likes to play downhill where he can finish through contact using good body control. The 19-year-old possesses a strong handle that's effective running the pick-and-roll, in isolation, finishing off cuts and attacking closeouts, while also showing some playmaking chops as a secondary ball-handler. His mid-range game is strong and he's able to finish with either hand around the basket, but his 3-point shooting will need to be more consistent in order to stretch defenses out. Avdalas' motor, positioning and IQ only help his case as a solid defender, as he does a nice job of fighting through screens, calling out cutters/rollers, and rotating in help coverage. Although not considered an explosive athlete, the positional size and strength mixed with Avdalas' skillset, deceleration mechanics and body control matches the popular archetype we see in today's NBA. If he can continue to improve his 3-point stroke, which he's already done drastically in the past year, the Greek prospect could find a home as a depth piece who can operate as a point-forward among all 30 teams. Avdalas' versatile game and confidence resembles that of Bogdan Bogdanović (LAC), Matas Buzelis (CHI) and some sprinkles of Luka Dončić (LAL).
