				  Shaquille O'Neal: Says He's Retiring
O'Neal stated on his Twitter account Wednesday that he plans to retire.
				  ANALYSIS
It wouldn't be surprising if this isn't a final answer, but it also wouldn't be surprising if he followed through on this. He was basically wrecked by lower-leg injuries at the end of the 2010 season, and there's no doubt that the 39-year-old has more than enough career accomplishments to be comfortable with making an exit at this point. If this is really the end for Shaq, he concludes his career with four NBA championships and 15 All-Star appearances.

This year’s nickname du jour is “The Big Shamrock,” but we see O’Neal’s luck running out in Boston. He will turn 39 this year and is coming off easily the worst season of his career. Furthermore, he’s faced with stiff competition for playing time in Jermaine O’Neal, and even more competition when Kendrick Perkins comes back. Let someone else risk a pick on Shaq.
