Stanton Kidd

Stanton Kidd was born on March 18, 1992 in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended Edmondson-Westside High School in Baltimore, where he averaged 23.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists as a senior. Kidd led Edmondson-Westside to its first-ever Baltimore City Division 1 Championship and earned all-metro honors as a senior. Kidd began his collegiate career at the junior college level. He played two seasons at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas, which he led to the 2011-12 National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship after a perfect 36-0 season. Kidd transferred to North Carolina Central University, where he was a First Team All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference pick in his first season. Kidd averaged 14.5 points per game -- good for third in the conference -- as well as 6.9 rebounds (eighth in the conference). Kidd played his senior season at Colorado State, where he averaged 11.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists. Prior to playing in the NBA, Kidd spent time overseas with Limburg United (Belgium), Tigers Tubingen (Germany) and Darussafaka (Turkey). In 2018, Kidd joined the Utah Jazz for Summer League. He again played for the Jazz's Summer League team in 2019 and signed a contract that kept him with the team until November 21. On December 20, 2019, Kidd joined Melbourne United (Australia). In August of 2020, he signed with OGM Ormanspor (Turkey) of the Basketball Super League.
