Memphis will bring in Gaffney to training camp and have him compete for a roster spot, ESPN reports.

Gaffney's only NBA experience involves a tryout for the Celtics back in 2010 where he failed to make the team. He most recently played for Spanish side Joventut Badalona in 2012, where he averaged 11.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. He is currently set to play the 2013-14 season for Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany, but that could change if he earns a spot with Memphis.
