Agrees to part ways with Red Bull
Perez announced via X on Wednesday that he and Red Bull Racing have agreed to part ways ahead of the 2025 season.

Perez notched five victories over that time and helped the team to a pair of Constructors titles. After opening 2024 with four podiums in the first five races, Perez struggled mightily failing to finish better than sixth over the final 18 races, including a pair of DNF's to close the season. It's unclear where the 34-year-old goes from here or if he is able to ever find a spot on the F1 grid again. Liam Lawson is the favorite to be announced as the new second driver at Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen. That would then open up a seat at the sister team of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls alongside Yuki Tsunoda.
