Young posted a 19-under cumulative score at the Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral to win the tournament by six strokes over
Scottie Scheffler.
ANALYSISYoung's performance in Miami was perhaps the most dominant victory of the 2026 PGA Tour season. He came out hot with a bogey-free, eight-under 64 score Thursday before following that up with a five-under 67 on Friday. He entered the final round with a commanding six-shot lead over Scheffler, and that was plenty enough for Young to come away with the third Tour victory of his career and second of the season. Young was the clubhouse leader after every round, becoming the first player since Andy Bean in 1977 to go wire-to-wire at Doral. He now has two Signature Event wins under his belt and is third in the FedExCup Standings, sitting closely behind Scheffler and
Matt Fitzpatrick. Young is currently listed in the field for the Truist Championship next week at Quail Hollow.
