ANALYSIS
Rather than accept his outright assignment to Triple-A Round Rock, Snyder has decided to test his luck on the open market. The 32-year-old can play first base as well as both corner outfield spots, and he's hit .288/.351/.507 in parts of five seasons at Triple-A, but he's done very little at the majors league level and will likely have to settle for a minors deal.
