Healthy scratch Sunday
Salas was scratched from the lineup for Game 2 of the NLDS against the Brewers on Sunday as a manager's decision.
Analysis
The rookie backstop was initially penciled in to serve as the designated hitter Sunday after starting behind the plate in Game 1 and going 1-for-3 with a run scored, but manager Craig Stammen has instead elected to start Gavin Sheets. Salas is healthy and will be available off the bench.
