ANALYSIS
A seventh-round pick out of NC State in 2011, Riggins is a free swinger who has displayed impressive power in the minor leagues. He hit 22 homers in 118 games with High-A Modesto last season, but also struck out a whopping 192 times in 482 plate appearances. This season at Double-A Tulsa, Riggins hit sevens homers while striking out 79 times in 205 plate appearances, but he still maintained an OBP above .350. He can only really play first base, a position Joey Votto is locked into with the major league club, but he's at worst organizational depth and could end up being a bench option down the line for Cincinnati.
