Correa, the younger brother of Astros shortstop Carlos Correa, recently completed a four-year stint at Lamar University. Like all collegiate players, Correa's 2020 season was cut short due to the pandemic, but during his last full season at Lamar, the shortstop led the Cardinals in batting average (.332), hits (74), doubles (14), home runs (10) and RBI (44).
