Rivers has now homered in back-to-back games and is 4-for-9 (.444) with seven RBI and four runs scored over the two games. He's shown great power potential, hitting 10 home runs, 12 doubles and four triples over 246 at-bats this season but he's also shown a serious penchant for strikeouts. The whiffs are obviously something to expect with a big power hitter but he'll have a much easier time moving through the system if he were to improve his plate discipline.
