Orr was named the California League Player of the Week after going 3-for-4 with a three-run home run against High-A Visalia on Sunday and is now batting .436 on the year.
ANALYSIS
Orr struggled in both the Northwest and Midwest leagues, never batting higher than .220 over a total of 480 at-bats. This year, in his first season with High-A Lake Elsinore, he's off to a hot start and not only is his average up, but his power totals are as well. There's still a long road ahead of him before rising through the ranks, but it appears as if he is ready to take his game to the next level.
