Analysis
Rengifo was diagnosed with a complete ACL tear and MCL sprain of his right knee Monday, so the move to the 60-day IL is hardly a surprise with him out for the season. The 29-year-old opened the campaign with the Brewers but was cut loose after posting a .534 OPS in 57 games, but he then signed with the Padres and found success with a .784 OPS in 38 contests prior to the injury.
