ANALYSIS
Gomez will add depth to the Mets at the catching position but he's not likely to see much playing time given his lowly position on the depth chart. The Mets already have Travis d'Arnaud and Kevin Plawecki as the first and second string catchers on the roster and as a result, Gomez's workload will likely be limited. In standard leagues, he is a low-end flier given his restricted opportunities to see playing time.
