ANALYSIS
The impending 21-year-old, a second-round pick in the 2014 draft, stumbled while adapting to the elevated level of play at Double-A Birmingham last year (3.90 ERA in nine starts) and didn't do well when he ended up at High-A Winston-Salem (4.01 ERA in 18 outings) either. Of course, Adams' youth will afford him plenty of time to work his way through the system.
