ANALYSIS
A 25th-round pick in 2013, Ott is little more than an afterthought in the deal involving Wil Myers, Trea Turner, Steven Souza and others, but the lefty has the type of projectable frame (6-foot-4, 170-pounds) that lends hope to him developing into a serviceable major leaguer in time. In 13 starts at the Low-A level in 2014, Ott posted a 3.93 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 45:26 K:BB over 55 innings. He held opposing lefties at Auburn to a .167 average, but the 19-year-old Ott likely won't even sniff the majors for several years.
