After going undrafted out of Syracuse following the 2020-21 season, Griffin spent his first G League season in 2021-22 with the Westchester Knicks and Rio Grand Valley Vipers. Between the two clubs, he appeared in 11 games and averaged 7.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 16.0 minutes per contest.
