In addition to Kennedy, the Nuggets waived Axel Toupane and JaKarr Sampson on Saturday, leaving Jarnell Stokes and Robbie Hummel to battle for the 15th and final roster spot. Kennedy, who hasn't played at the NBA level since 2011-12, never had a great shot at making the Nuggets' roster and will presumably continue his career overseas.
