The Pelicans
announced Wednesday that Alvarado (hamstring) is progressing well in his rehab program and will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks.
ANALYSISAlvarado has been sidelined since Nov. 11 due to a left hamstring strain. Before getting hurt, Alvarado had made seven consecutive starts and averaged 15.1 points, 4.9 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 3.1 three-pointers and 1.6 steals in 31.1 minutes, but once healthy, he'll likely be returning to a much smaller role off the bench.
Dejounte Murray has since beaten Alvarado back to the court after fracturing his hand in the Oct. 23 season opener.
