Wright averaged only 3.6 points per game in 14.7 minutes this season.
ANALYSIS
Wright has never really shown improvement during his time in the NBA, but there remains the potential for him to become a key role player in the league. With Linas Kleiza most likely out for the beginning of next season, Wright could see plenty of playing time at small forward. The Raptors will need to make a qualifying offer of nearly $4 million to ensure that Wright is on their roster next season. Wright's refusal to enter a game near the end of the season may strongly affect whether the team decides to bring him back next season. With James Johnson seemingly entrenched as the team's small forward, it may be hard for the team to justify carrying Wright given his lack of offensive ability.
