Schortsanitis was selected 34th overall out of Greece in the 2003 draft, but has since played his entire career in Europe. At 6-10, 350 pounds, Schortsanitis was once affectionately nicknamed "Baby Shaq" and can be remembered for dominating the USA Men's National Team during Greece's 2006 FIBA World Championship run. Nonetheless, the 29-year-old center is unlikely to ever play in the NBA and only had his rights traded so the Hawks could acquire Thabo Sefolosha on Tuesday.
