Thunder renounce rights
The Thunder renounced their rights to Zubcic on Sunday, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old big man was originally acquired by the Thunder from the Raptors in July of 2015 in what amounted to a salary dump of Luke Ridnour's contract. Zubcic spent all of the 2015-16 campaign with the D-League's Oklahoma City Blue, appearing in 36 games and averaging 7.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game. With the Thunder letting Zubcic go, he's free to sign with any NBA team, but it's more likely he opens the upcoming season in the D-League or overseas.
