Barkley ran for 107 yards and a TD against the Ravens and pushed his season total to 1,499 yards rushing – tops in the league – and 11 touchdowns. He's on pace to break Eric Dickerson's NFL single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards.

Jared Goff, Lions (+1100)

Goff and Detroit are considered the favorites in the NFC North following a breakthrough 2023 season in which the Lions came up one game shy of their first Super Bowl appearance. With the rise of the Vikings and Packers, though, they have a legitimate race for the division title on their hands. Goff is the steady presence through it all. The Lions are 11-1 after edging the Bears, 23-20. Goff had a good day, going 21 of 34 for 221 yards – with no interceptions – and is completing 72% of his passes for the season.

Lamar Jackson, Ravens (+1200)

The reigning NFL MVP has played outstanding football this season, though Baltimore fell to 8-5 after dropping a close game to the Eagles. Hard to believe, but Jackson is already in his seventh season. He has been dominating as a passer and is second in the league with 3,290 passing yards and 29 TD throws. As a runner, he ranks 22nd in the NFL with 678 yards and three more touchdowns. He will be near the top of the passing stats at year's end and should be among the rushing leaders for QBs. His odds will remain solid with that type of dual-threat play.

Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (+2200)

Mahomes is among the favorites to win the MVP and with good reason. His stats for 2024 aren't blowing anyone out of the water, but he keeps finding ways for the Chiefs to win in their 11-1 start and delivered another cliff-hanger in a 19-17 win over Las Vegas in Week 13. He has thrown for 2,979 yards and 19 touchdowns. As long as the reigning Super Bowl champs stay in the title hunt, Mahomes will remain a favorite in NFL MVP odds. Jalen Hurts, Eagles (+6600)

Jayden Daniels, Commanders (+6600)

The rookie QB out of LSU, the No. 2 overall draft pick, has exceeded expectations in his NFL infancy. He has led the surprising Commanders to an 8-5 mark and are in contention for a playoff spot in the rugged NFC. The Commanders have surpassed their win total from last season, when they were 4-13. Daniels has had his rookie struggles but helped Washington snap a three-game losing skid with a 42-19 win over Tennessee. He has 2,819 yards and 15 touchdowns passing, plus 590 yards rushing and six TDs. He is already developing a reputation for keeping his team in the game even when he isn't at his best.
