ANALYSIS
This could be a sign that LaRon Landry (ankle) is nearing a return, though nothing else supports that conclusion, and Landry didn't practice Thursday. It's also possible that the Colts are comfortable with keeping just three healthy safeties -- Antoine Bethea, Delano Howell, and Sergio Brown -- on the roster, or perhaps the team plans on signing another defensive back to replace Lefeged. Regardless, the loss of a little-used backup safety like Lefeged doesn't figure to have much effect on the Indianapolis defense.
