Tomaic announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he'll join San Diego State as a graduate transfer from Maryland.
ANALYSIS
Tomaic will head to the West Coast to complete his eligibility after spending the previous three seasons with Maryland. The 6-foot-10 center started just two games with Maryland, neither of which came in his junior season. He'll be able to compete immediately with San Diego State and should carve out a larger reserve role than he did at Maryland after averaging just 4.4 minutes per game as a junior.
