Consistent activity in practice

October 2, 2019
Langford has been practicing just about every day and has also been participating in live game play for over two weeks, Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Langford underwent ankle surgery back in February which was originally supposed to keep him out 4-to-5 months but ended up keeping the senior guard out until the end of August. He was cleared for basketball activities back on August 26 and since has been practicing like any other player on the roster over the past couple of weeks. Langford was having a career-year in 2018 before going down with his injury, the guard from Alabama averaged 15 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 28.6 minutes per game, all which were career-highs for Langford. It's going to take some time before Langford is able to get back to that high level of play, but once he's able to get to where he was before the injury, the tandem of him and Cassius Winston in the backcourt will be a force to be reckoned with not just in the Big Ten, but in the entire country.
