Trice totaled 21 points (7-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and an assist across 27 minutes in Tuesday's victory against Coppin State.
ANALYSIS
After missing most of the 2017-2018 season with a broken foot, Trice looked better than ever in the season opener, doing the majority of his damage from beyond the arc. He shot just 30.0 percent from three a year ago through 10 games, so it's promising to see that he's showing some confidence in his shot during his third year with the Badgers. Trice figures to continue to start at point guard moving forward, although even if he shares the point guard duties with Brad Davison at some point, Trice should serve as a key contributor at both ends of the court throughout the year.
