Status in question for opener

Foot
October 17, 2018
Wiley (foot) is in danger of missing Auburn's season opener against South Alabama Brandon Marcello of Auburn Undercover reports.
ANALYSIS
The Tigers' big man is battling a left foot injury and was recently seen in a walking boot and coach Bruce Pearl said that Wiley will be sidelined "a couple more weeks." Auburn's season doesn't start until Nov. 6, so missing additional time right now doesn't necessarily preclude Wiley from being ready for the opener. Chuma Okeke would likely fill in at power forward if Wiley can't give it a go Nov. 6.
