May 27, 2020
Horne committed Wednesday to join Georgia as a graduate transfer from Virginia Tech, Dan McDonald of Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Horne will be immediately eligible as he heads back to his home state of Georgia after earning his degree from Virginia Tech earlier this month. The big man averaged 7.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 triples in 28.1 minutes per game over 32 appearances (30 starts) with the Hokies in 2019-20. A rising senior, Horne should be in contention for a starting role with the Bulldogs.
