Garrett (illness) had seven points (3-6 FG, 1-1 FT) and three rebounds across 20 minutes off the bench in Saturday's 75-89 loss to Auburn.
Garrett had been probable for the contest due to illness, but he was still able to take on close to a regular minutes workload. Like most of the Jayhawks, however, Garrett struggled, logging four personal fouls and three turnovers during his time on the court. Kansas has a young group of guards, many of which have NBA potential, but Garrett's role in 2019-20 will likely depend heavily on who stays with the program. If both Quentin Grimes and Devin Dotson are back, Garrett could be delegated primarily to a reserve role once again.
