Lands at Middle Tennessee
Davis announced April 3 via his personal Twitter account that he would transfer from Dayton to Middle Tennessee State, Luis Torres of The Murfreesboro Daily News Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
One of several Dayton players to enter the transfer portal this offseason, Davis cited being closer to his family in South Carolina as a primary factor in his decision to join the Blue Raiders. The 6-foot-3 guard will have to sit out the 2019-20 season in accordance with NCAA transfer rules but will have two years of eligibility when he's available in 2020-21. He started 54 games over his two seasons at Dayton and averaged 9.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game during the most recent campaign.
