Heading to draft
GIowa State
March 24, 2020
Haliburton (wrist) told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN on Tuesday that he'll forgo his final two seasons at Iowa State to enter the 2020 NBA Draft.
ANALYSIS
The 6-foot-5, 175-pound Haliburton projects as a lottery pick in the upcoming draft, so his decision to turn pro was fully expected. After a promising freshman season, Haliburton made the jump to stardom as a sophomore before his 2019-20 campaign ended in February due to a fractured left wrist that required surgery. Before getting injured, Haliburton averaged 15.2 points, 6.5 assists, 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.4 three-pointers in 36.7 minutes per game while shooting 50.4 percent from the floor, 41.9 percent from distance and 82.2 percent from the charity stripe.
