Keeping name in draft

June 9, 2020
Bey said Tuesday that he will sign with the Excel Sports Management agency and forgo his final two seasons at Villanova to keep his name in the 2020 NBA Draft, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
One of two Villanova underclassmen to declare for the draft, Bey was always viewed as a more likely candidate to enter the professional ranks than Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, who has since withdrawn his name. The 6-foot-8 wing is viewed as a potential "3-and-D" player at the next level after averaging 16.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.5 three-pointers, 2.4 assists and 0.8 steals in 33.9 minutes per game as a sophomore while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 45.1 percent from distance. He's likely to hear his name called in the back half of the first round of the draft.
