Gomez said Tuesday that he'll join San Diego State as a graduate transfer for the 2020-21 season, Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The ex-Cal State Northridge standout scorer committed to San Diego State after also weighing offers from Arkansas, Washington State and Iowa State. The 5-foot-8 dynamo was one of the top scorers in the transfer portal after averaging 19.8 points per game and drilling 111 three-pointers during his junior season at Cal State Northridge. If Malachi Flynn elects to stick around with the Aztecs for his senior season, he could form a backcourt tandem with Gomez that would stack up favorably with just about any team in the nation.
