Freeman-Liberty is transferring to DePaul, Adam Zagoria of The New York Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Freeman-Liberty withdrew from the 2020 NBA Draft back on April 28, but said he would not return to Valparaiso. Now DePaul made it official Thursday that the 6-3 guard would join their program. This is a big get for coach Dave Leitao as Freeman-Liberty put up 19.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.2 steals, and 1.5 three-pointers per game last season. At this point it appears Freeman-Liberty will be required to sit out next season, but he will retain two years of eligibility.
