Leads team with 13 boards
James (ankle) had five points (2-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 24 minutes during Friday's 70-56 loss to Oregon State.
ANALYSIS
James left the game with a right ankle injury after he stepped on an Oregon State player's foot and turned his ankle. The 6-6 sophomore ended up checking back into the game but stayed on the floor for all of 37 seconds before coming back out and did not end up re-entering. He easily had his worst shooting performance of the season as the Volunteers struggled all game to get things going from the floor. James will undoubtedly be one of the leaders for the Volunteers next season with Yves Pons likely heading to the NBA Draft and John Fulkerson (head) uncertain if he'll return for another year.
