Edwards managed 24 points (7-16 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 6-8 FT), nine rebounds, four steals and three assists in the 91-72 win over Western Carolina on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Edwards much-anticipated collegiate debut was nothing short of spectacular. The talented freshman not only dropped a game-high 24 points across superb shooting from the field, but also contributed significantly in many other areas including grabbing nine rebounds and recording four takeaways. The sky is the limit for Edwards this season; practically anything is possible with his wide array of elite skills both offensively and defensively as he showed Tuesday.
