Returns to full health

June 2, 2020
Oregon coach Dana Altman said Duarte has made a full recovery from the surgery he required Feb. 27 to address a broken right pinkie finger, James Crepea of The Oregonian reports.
ANALYSIS
Shortly after the procedure, Duarte was ruled out for the Pac-12 tournament, but Oregon hadn't closed the door on the 6-foot-6 wing playing in the NCAA tournament, had it not been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that he's healthy again, Duarte is expected to take on a heavier role on offense in 2020-21 following the graduation of standout point guard Payton Pritchard. Duarte was one of Pritchard's top running mates as a junior in 2019-20, averaging 12.9 points, 5.6 boards, 1.7 steals, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.6 assists in 30.2 minutes per game while starting in all 28 of his appearances.
