Gardner entered the NCAA's transfer portal Friday and intends to leave Georgetown, Jeff Borzello of reports.
Gardner is part of a mass exodus from Georgetown, as he becomes the fourth Hoya in the last two weeks to declare his intention to transfer. The freshman averaged 3.1 points and 2.9 boards over 10.4 minutes in his eight games with the team. He'll likely have to sit out the first semester of the 2020-21 season before debuting for his next team.
